Rapid Response Revival is dedicated to improving the design, portability, cost and ease-of-use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). AEDs save lives. Their purpose is to make early defibrillation available to people experiencing out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA). Globally, more than six million people die every year from sudden cardiac arrest, with a survival rate of less than 1 per cent.1 Most of these deaths – more than 80 per cent – occur in homes.2 Rapid Response Revival is pioneering a solution to barriers to AED use and home ownership, including portability, ease of use, and cost. CellAED® achieved CE Certification in May 2021, which applies to Member States of the European Economic Area and is also approved for sale in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Taiwan.
Rapid Response Revival is actively seeking regulatory approval for CellAED® in other jurisdictions around the world.
